Important Information for Exhibitors

The Great Dane Club of Victoria Inc 2010 Open and Championship Shows

New Venue & New Start Time
Please note that this years Show will be held at KCC Park, Westernport Hwy, Skye. The start time for the Open Show is 3pm. The Show will be held in an outside ring, however in the event of inclement weather, the show will move indoors.

Best in Show & Runner-Up to Best in Show and Property Classes.

If your dog wins Best in Show or Runner-Up to Best in Show you are not eligible to compete in the Property Classes for that show. If you have entered the Property Classes, your entry will be refunded.

Parade of Champions / Grand Champions
If you are a member of the Great Dane Club of Victoria Inc and your dog has achieved its Champion or Grand Champion title in the past year, please provide a copy of the ANKC certificate to the Secretary by Mon 27 September 2010.

Parade of 'Other Titles'
If you are a member of the Great Dane Club of Victoria Inc and your dog has achieved Pet Therapy accreditation, an Endurance Test Title, an Obedience Title, a Tracking Title or an Agility/Jumping Title, please provide a copy of the relevant certificate to the Secretary by Mon 27 September 2010.

Parade of Veterans
We all love to encourage the ‘old boys and girls’ as they make their way around the ring for a lap of honour. The Parade of Veterans is a highlight of the night. If you enter the Parade of Veterans, your veteran must be present on the night to receive a sash. Each veteran will receive a free sausage!

Catering
Catering (BBQ and drinks) will be available on the night. Gold Coin Donation.

Catalogue
Please note there is one catalogue which includes both the Open and Championship Shows. Cost is $6, please pay with entry.

Raffle
Please support the Raffles held throughout the year. Money raised from these raffles is used to purchase the wonderful trophies. Further information on upcoming raffles is available on the Club's website, www.greatdaneclubvic.org There will be a special raffle held on the night, don't forget to buy your tickets. You've got to be in it, to win it!

GDCV Membership
Exhibitors who are GDCV Members, but are not financial, will be charged the difference on the entrance fee.
